Aim of the competition
Through the world championship, machine operators can test their own skills against fellow operators from all over the world.
Participants are tested on skills such as:
- Agility
- Mental resilience
- Flexibility
They are also tested on how well they can handle technologies such as Production Measurement and Cat Grade.
How the competition works
Operators who qualify through the local qualifying rounds may take part in the semi-finals in October-November 2019 in Málaga, Japan, Brazil and the United States.
The winners advance to the final, which is held during Conexpo in Las Vegas, in March 2020.
The eventual world champion wins a genuine VIP trip for two to a Caterpillar facility of their choice.
