Which changes are important for you in the new AREI?
Objectives
The intended objectives of the draft of a new AREI are:
- Increase readability
- Make the AREI more adaptable
Result
The new Regulations will consist of three books:
- Book 1: Electrical installations at low voltage and extra-low voltage;
- Book 2: Electrical installations at high voltage;
- Book 3: Installations for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy.
The structure will follow the harmonisation documents of CENELEC and EN standards as much as possible
Revision of article 104 of the current AREI regarding precautionary measures against fire, in response to problems arising in practice
Integration of the existing ministerial decrees into the AREI.
