Wat is duaal leren?

But what does it stand for?

What is dual learning?

Dual learning is a combination of classical studying at the school desk with practice in the workplace.

The alternative to the classic 'school only' courses or courses with a limited internship component.

Dual learning is a win-win for everyone

  1. The learner gets closer to the labour market and acquires important basic attitudes combined with practice-oriented knowledge.
  2. The company can better assess potential employees and address any labour shortages.
  3. For society, dual learning results in more qualified young people and less youth unemployment.

"Learning in the workplace and in the classroom must together lead the pupil to acquire a full professional qualification."

Professor Luc Sels, chairman of the Flemish Dual Learning Partnership.
