WHAT DOES THIS ASBESTOS DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL TRAINING COVER?
The use of asbestos has long been banned, yet many buildings still contain it.
This training is aimed specifically at people who demolish and remove asbestos or asbestos-containing materials, as well as site managers.
It is the mandatory training for all certified asbestos removers, and for companies that want to obtain their accreditation.
You learn to recognise the possible hazards, assess them and then act appropriately.

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
Only workers who have completed the basic training with the annual refresher may carry out the demolition and removal of asbestos or asbestos-containing materials.
The basic training lasts at least 32 hours and the annual refresher 8 hours.
To provide this training and refresher, the employer calls on a body external to the company.
