WHAT DO YOU GET IN THIS WORKING AT HEIGHT COMPETENT PERSON MOBILE SCAFFOLD TRAINING?
This training is aimed at employees who release the mobile scaffold as the competent person.
You translate the possible hazards of the mobile scaffold into a correct risk assessment.
Where necessary, we learn to calculate the permissible load ourselves and draw the assembly plan.
The training covers all requirements of the Royal Decree of 2005 applied in practice.
After this training, you may release a mobile scaffold for use. With the instruction note you have drawn up, every user can get to work safely.
MODULE 3: COMPETENT PERSON
- Risk assessment
- Observation and inspection of the mobile scaffold
- Drawing up instructions for use
- Coordination and communication
- Signage, passages and demarcation of the work zone
ACTIONS, NOT WORDS!
- A full day of training normally lasts 7 hours, unless stated otherwise
- Theoretical introduction (30%) with many practical exercises (70%)
- Every participant who passes receives the official certificate WORKING AT HEIGHT: COMPETENT PERSON MOBILE SCAFFOLD

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
“The employer who uses the scaffold designates a person, hereinafter called the competent person, who, by means of training, has acquired the required knowledge for carrying out the following tasks:
- overseeing the application of the preventive measures against the risks of persons or objects falling;
- overseeing the application of the safety measures in changing weather conditions that could compromise the safety of the scaffold concerned;
- overseeing compliance with the conditions regarding the permissible load;
- carrying out checks required to comply with the provisions of article 17”. (Codex book IV, title 5)
