What does the law say?
In summary
- All prevention advisors must at least have sufficient basic knowledge.
- For this they follow the basic course (level III) of at least 40 hours at an accredited institution.
- Some internal prevention advisors are required to follow the additional training (level I or II).
- All external prevention advisors are required to follow the additional training (level I): a multidisciplinary basic module of 120 hours plus a specialisation module.
- Mandatory annual refresher training for all prevention advisors (3 days recommended).
