The organisation must gain insight into the needs and expectations of all relevant stakeholders.

4. Leadership

The requirements of the OH&S management system must be embedded in the business strategy and the business processes. They must help enable the management system to achieve the intended results.

5. Commitment to risk management

In addition to the already known requirements, the policy must also contain a commitment to risk management. This must take the prevention hierarchy into account. Furthermore, the policy statement must indicate which employees participate.
