WHAT DO YOU GET AS AN ELECTRICIAN IN THIS BA4 WARNED TRAINING?

Working in the vicinity of electrical installations is not without risk!

Almost daily, major or minor occupational accidents involving electricity are recorded.

That is why the legislation provides for a specific training for persons who, during their work, may come into contact with electrical installations.

This training is aimed specifically at participants with prior electrical knowledge.

As an electrician, you avoid occupational accidents with the BA4 warned training for electricians!

  • Legislation and responsibilities
  • The Vital 5: switching off, locking, measuring, earthing and demarcating
  • Low voltage
  • Switching and protection equipment
  • Use of work equipment and necessary PPE
  • Dangers of electricity and reacting in emergency situations
  • In our practical cases, we preferably work on the basis of your internal risk analysis and photographic material

If you have no prior electrical knowledge, then follow our standard BA4 warned training or the BA4 warned light course. Qualified persons who carry out interventions in the electrical cabinet themselves are better off taking the BA5 qualified course.

NO WORDS, BUT DEEDS!

  • A full day of training lasts 7 hours as standard, unless otherwise stated
  • Theoretical introduction with applied practical exercises and test
  • This training is part of the mandatory knowledge for the granting of a BA4 authorisation declaration by the employer
  • The employer is still responsible for the internal situational guidelines based on the risk analysis

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?

.The competence of persons characterised by the code BA4 or BA5 is granted to the workers by the employer and set out in a document that clearly determines for which activities and for which electrical installations the competence applies (RD 25-04-2004, art 3.2).
The employer ensures the necessary training of the workers and provides the necessary instructions to avoid the risks inherent in the use, operation and work on the electrical installation, taking into account the tasks with which these workers are entrusted. (Codex book III, title 2)
