WHAT DOES THIS BASIC SAFETY (B-VCA) TRAINING FOR OPERATIONAL EMPLOYEES COVER?
VCA is a widely used checklist/management system to promote a safe and healthy working environment.
Although it is not described in any law or standard, VCA is regarded as a general standard for safety.
In the VCA Basic course, you as an employee get a general overview of safety, health and well-being at work.
Because working conditions and risks can vary, the electrician too must know something about hazardous substances, and the mechanic about fire and explosion. So it is NOT about the safety aspects specific to your own job, which you fill in through vocational training and experience.
We conclude the training day with the official B-VCA exam, administered by an independent accredited VCA exam centre.
With a VCA Basic diploma you prove that you have the required basic knowledge of safety!
