WHAT DOES THE VCA SAFETY FOR OPERATIONAL SUPERVISORS EXAM (VOL-VCA) INVOLVE?
For some clients, a VCA diploma is an absolute necessity if you want to work for them as a contractor, builder or subcontractor.
As a supervisor of a VCA-certified company too, the VCA-VOL diploma is mandatory.
However, it is NOT MANDATORY to always first take a VCA Safety for Operational Supervisors (VOL-VCA) course!
Those with enough discipline prepare through self-study for the VCA-VOL exam ! For this, be sure to use the official VCA-VOL handbook.

The final and assessment objectives define the knowledge that operational supervisors must possess in the indicated areas. They serve as the basis for drawing up the exam questions. They relate only to the domain of knowledge and say nothing about skills.

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
The employer in whose establishment work is carried out by contractors and, where applicable, by subcontractors, is required to ensure that the workers concerned have received the appropriate training and instructions inherent to its business activity. (Welfare Act and Code 04/08/1996, art. 9)
