WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
Self-propelled mobile work equipment may only be operated by workers who have received adequate training in the safe operation of this equipment (Code, book IV, title 3)
Any workstation where work equipment is used, where motor vehicles, cranes, overhead cranes or lifting devices of any kind are operated, is regarded as a safety function (Code, book I, title 4)
Frequently asked questions
Who is the 1-hour competence test for?
For experienced glass lift operators without a (valid) certificate. You demonstrate your knowledge and skill in one hour and then go straight back to work.
What if I have little experience?
Then it is better to take one of our practical trainings. The competence test is intended for those who already have sufficient work experience and adequate training.
Which certificate do I receive?
Those who pass receive the official certificate, valid as with the regular training.
