Permanent monitoring and personalised coaching
WINNING FORMULA FOR SAFE DRIVING BEHAVIOUR
Forklift operators who have technically perfectly mastered their job, but fly through the warehouse like a rally driver.
During a training day there is nothing to fault, but afterwards they quickly fall back into their old habits.
Do you know them too? How do you approach them?
With the Drivity driving behaviour modules, we offer you the solution in 2 steps.
Permanent monitoring combined with personalised coaching is the only solution.
But who has time for that?
1. Measurement
By means of hardware and software in the forklift, we measure knowledge, skill and attitude.
The software registers:
- Who is driving the device
- The ratio of driving time vs. standstill
- And most importantly, the driving behaviour of each operator
2. Analysis and coaching
We translate all results into clear graphs and analyse the individual results.
On the basis of objective data, we draw up an improvement track and adjust where necessary.
A change of behaviour is not achieved in one day.
In mutual consultation, a track is set out with monthly personal coaching.
Via the driving behaviour modules, the manager meets their information and instruction obligation. They also immediately see which operator maintains a correct driving style and who needs coaching.
Adjusting the driving behaviour results in:
MORE SAFETY
- Monitoring the operators' driving behaviour ensures a safer driving style in the long term
- A generally safer driving style benefits not only the forklift operators, but the entire company
- Driving behaviour improved by up to 90%
LOWER COSTS
- Fewer accidents and wear on the forklifts
- More efficient deployment of people and equipment
- Reduced consumption thanks to an eco-friendly driving style
WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?
Self-propelled mobile work equipment may only be operated by workers who have received adequate training for the safe operation of this work equipment (Code, book IV, title 3)
Any workstation where work equipment is used, or where motor vehicles, cranes, overhead cranes or lifting devices of any kind are operated, is considered a safety function (Code, book I, title 4)
Frequently asked questions
What problem does the coaching solve?
Operators who drive technically perfectly but quickly fall back into old, unsafe habits after a training day; permanent monitoring + coaching is the solution.
How does the measurement work?
Via hardware and software in the forklift (Drivity), it is recorded who is driving, the ratio of driving time/standstill and above all the driving behaviour of each operator.
What does it yield?
More safety (driving behaviour improved by up to 90%) and lower costs (fewer accidents and wear, reduced consumption).
