WHAT DO YOU GET IN THIS WORKING AT HEIGHTS FIXED SCAFFOLDING ASSEMBLER TRAINING?

This training is aimed at the workers who assemble the scaffolding.

You learn to recognise the possible dangers of the scaffolding, assess them and then act appropriately.

We ensure correct assembly according to the manual or assembly diagram with extra attention to a safe stabilisation.

The training covers all the requirements of the 2005 Royal Decree applied in practice.

You learn to safely assemble a fixed scaffolding. Safe for yourself and the user!

MODULE 2: ASSEMBLER

  • Instructions from the competent person
  • Assembly, alteration and dismantling of a fixed scaffolding
  • Anchoring
    • Ground and stability
    • Stabilisers
    • Braces
    • Recessed anchoring system
  • Standard scaffolding: instructions for use and assembly diagram
  • Deviation from the standard: calculation note and assembly plan (drawn up by a competent person)
  • Safety and risks

  • A full day of training lasts 7 hours by default, unless stated otherwise
  • Theoretical introduction (30%) with many practical exercises (70%)

WHAT DOES THE LAW SAY?

"The employer who employs workers who will take part in the assembly, dismantling or alteration of a scaffolding ensures that these workers receive training that enables them to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for carrying out their tasks. This training relates in particular to: "Only workers who have acquired the intended knowledge and skills may work on a scaffolding or take part in its assembly, dismantling or alteration." (Codex book IV, title 5)
  • the understanding of the assembly, dismantling or alteration diagramschema of the scaffolding concerned
  • the safe assembly, dismantling or alteration of the scaffolding concerned
  • the measures referred to in § 1, second paragraph (see user)
  • any other risk that the assembly, dismantling or alteration work may entail."
