WHAT DO YOU GET IN THIS SLINGING OF CRITICAL LOADS TRAINING?

Hoisting is not the same as slinging. A hoisting device is a device intended for moving vertically and possibly also horizontally freely suspended loads.

SLINGING OF CRITICAL LOADS

Normec Praxis is a Besacc-VCA examination centre that holds an accreditation for the register of high-risk tasks. An example of such high-risk tasks is, for instance, the slinging of loads with a lifting crane or construction crane. Many young men consider this a dream job, but do not sufficiently realise that a rigging course leading to the IS-006 diploma is required to carry out this profession in a responsible manner.

Such training is not only valuable for you and your employer, but also considerably increases your value on the labour market. That is precisely why you would do best to choose a specialised training institute with a good reputation and a great deal of useful experience. Over the years, Normec Praxis has built up a good name in the field of rigging training and the IS-006 diploma.

RIGGING TRAINING

Anyone who registers here for a rigging course and wants to gain more experience with a construction crane and a lifting crane is therefore making the right choice. The IS-006 diplomas are of crucial importance in sectors such as the petrochemical sector or in a port company. You enjoy the practical training at the location itself or in one of our affiliated centres throughout Flanders.

The rigging training for learning how to sling loads is highly personalised. You may already have gained experience and skills in your work situation. In that case, there is no need to repeat this in the training. We build on what you already can do and, in the rigging training, we focus on what you cannot yet do. That is precisely what you need to learn.

IS-006 DIPLOMA

Anyone who passes the rigging training receives the recognised IS-006 diploma! For certain branches or sectors it is not crucial to obtain this diploma. Even then, a rigging course can still be useful. In this case we can also offer you a more general training. This training focuses on the slinging of loads and the moving of non-critical loads.

Such training places more emphasis on the basic skills you need to handle loads that are difficult to manoeuvre in a safe manner. This may be accompanied by the use of chain hoists deployed in complex constructions or situations.

This training is aimed at employees who, in carrying out hoisting work, critical loads sling, hoist and coordinate.

What are critical loads?

Loads whose centre of gravity is unknown, which are large in shape or size and which have no fixed, defined attachment points.

Does your sector or client require the Besacc-VCA certificate? Then follow our trainingIS-006 slinging and signalling of critical loads.

The aim of this training is the effective and safe hoisting of combined or difficult-to-handle loads.
