WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS AV-021 SCAFFOLD BUILDER TRAINING?

For the AV-021 scaffold builder diploma, you have come to the right place at Normec Praxis!

The IS diplomas are essential in the petrochemical industry and port companies.

The training can take place at your premises or in one of our partner centres in Flanders.

The number of training days depends on your experience and competencies.

If you pass, you receive the official AV-021 diploma!

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Be at least 18 years old
• Identification possible by means of an identity card, passport or driving licence
• Have a declaration of medical fitness
• The participant masters the language of the examinations

TARGET GROUP

All scaffold builders.

OBJECTIVE

Gain practical experience and acquire knowledge of safety aspects, stability and plan reading.

ACTIONS, NOT WORDS!

• A full day of training lasts 7 hours by default, unless otherwise stated
• Theoretical introduction (30%) with many practical exercises (70%)
• Theory exam
• Practical exam
• Every participant who passes receives the Besacc-VCA diploma AV-021: scaffold builder
• The diploma is personal and states the high-risk task for which the participant passed
• The diploma is valid for 10 years and is registered online at http://besacc.epyc.eu/diploma

• Knowing the content of the safety function
• Interpreting and complying with work permits
• Safety rules
• Standards, legislation and regulations
• Inspection of scaffolding material
• Assembly, modifications and dismantling
• Knowing extensions and bridging
• Knowing strength of materials and stability
• Knowing how to draw up a material list

PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT TERMS

• Being able to apply safety rules
• Inspecting scaffolding material
• Assembling, dismantling and adapting a scaffold
